My name is John Mills. I am a Senior at Eau Gallie High School in Florida, and am on my way to graduating with my A.A Degree in General Education from Brevard Community College. I plan on getting a Bachelors in both Mechanical and Aerospace engineering, and later getting a degree in music theory. I have been playing guitar for 3 years, but have been involved with music for 5 years. I was in middle school band for 2 years, high school band for 2 years, and played guitar for those two years and the year after. In band i played the clarinet, but when i picked up the guitar, there was no turning back. I have learned more about music theory from the guitar then i ever did from the clarinet. With the guitar i can see the relationship between notes in a way thats just not possible with the clarinet. I now appreciate scales a lot more than i used to; scales were the most dreadful thing in band.
