The red octagon. It's not just a simple 8 sided shape whos angles equal 1,080 degrees. No. It's a shape that if you don't pay attention too, will change your life, and the lives others forever.
This specific red octagon is found at 99.9% of non - traffic light controlled intersections. The other .1% are yield signs.
The purpous of the red octagon is to hault vehicles to allow the through traffic the right-of-way at the intersection. All of these red octagons are inscribed with the word "STOP".
I was 3 years old when I learned this shape and never forgot it's meaning.
2 people are dead now because some 90 year old crusty peice of shit was too busy trying to remember if he put his teeth in or not. It's simply amazing, you can remember to wipe your ass everytime you take a shit, but too many times people are too careless to think about others saftey by paying attention to the road. "But JDawg, it was just an accident, they happen." Nope, The only accident here was allowing a man with 3 inch eye glasses huddled over a steering wheel on the road.
Far too many times people run stop signs simply because they weren't paying attention and they end up destroying lives... Open your eyes, get off your fucking cell phone, and STOP AT THE RED OCTAGON.
Wow, UG has come a long way since it first started. Anyone remember UG back in 2001? I still remember downloading the free software like the chordfinder and guitar tuner.
Hey guys, Most of you couldn't care less but! My sound card on my recording pc is taking a shit. Loud crackling noise in recording and playback. I checked everything and narrowed it to the sound card. I have an Audigy 2 with the attatched drive bay hub with the 1/4 in input. Luckily I found an identical one on ebay for 40 bucks. I really liked this sound card and I hope this was just a fluke because I am getting the same one.
