I know Plays Pretty for Baby and that's an awesome song, but every other song I listen to doesn't sound like him. I think their new singer is some girl? |
He does vocals on most of the self-titled release and he left the band after that, I believe. "Moment," "Plays Pretty," "Ode to Madonna," "Words for Now," "Mean Old Coot," "Mr. Song," "Riding Trains in November," "Simon," aaand "There's that one person you'll never get over no matter how long it's been."

yeah, I guess. but after you said that, I decided I'd try and write a riff. and now a songs coming out of it. it's not that bad either.
unfortunately most of my great inspiration comes from circa survive and their next album is gonna be awhile. they're recording soon though so I'm stoked. that'll get me back in the groove | progress! yay! let me know when you are done, ill be the first to crit. thanks for yours btw
yeah dude, they are taking forever for a new album.. they need to record at lightning speed. im starting to get impatient, lol. their music is my quiet music. i need more of that i have discovered, :P do you know any other bands sorta like them? i found one awhile ago, but i forget their name...

me too. so much. but I have had nothing going for quite a long time. and if I were to post something I'm sure it'd be very disappointing. :/
but in time, something will come up. hopefully......I'm just so far not feeling anything I've written in forever. | you what though? if you keep at it, even if you just come up with crap, in time you will come back and be better. its better then not doing anything anyways..... :P

StrayCatBlues wrote on Jun 11th, 2009 5:52pmI have to agree with you there.
I get the deep impression of New Again that they'll definitely make better albums with Fazzi, given some time to fully integrate with the band.
I mean, New Again reminds me of Where You Want To Be in that it's a cracking album but isn't quite sure what it wants to be.
Give it another album for the focus to really settle and it'll be amazing quote |
StrayCatBlues wrote on Jun 9th, 2009 9:23pmI kind of prefer Fred's sense of poise and progression - the breakdowns on Louder Now are more and better than on New Again in my opinion - but Fazzi's work on Everything Must Go, Carpathia and suchlike is incredible.
But yeah, Louder Now has been in my CD changer since August 2008 quote |

and I like how Anthony is one of your favorite guitarists although he can hardly even play the instrument. |
This is true, but I love his acoustic work on Avalon.

hey man! sorry this took so long. I don't check my profile that often.
but I'm taking a break from writing really. at least I'm not trying that hard anymore. waiting for something to come up. how's your writing been going? | its fine dude :P and thats a shame... i miss your stuff. but i guess it's better to take a break then shell out bum music my writing has been going pretty good. im just still in search of a band. my brother knows a band that needs a guitarist, but they dont want anyone in high school. bad experience i guess... but my brother is going to try persuading them, which would be amazing.
