Aerosmith, Disturbed, The Eagles, Steve Miller Band, Queen, Black Sabbath, Ozzy Osbourne, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Def Leppard, Rolling Stones, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Led Zeppelin, Dragon Force, Pantera, Allman Brothers Band, Danzig, Dio, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, John Petrucci, Black Label Society, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Seger, old KoRn, Rammstein, Tenacious D, ZZ Top, and hundreds more that I can't think of right now. Medieval plainchant, Renaissance motets and madrigals, Baroque programmatic music, Classical (not much, though; it pretty much all sounds the same), Romantic-era music, some atonal, early 20th century blues, rag, jazz, and big band, all the way up to present day. In short: Everything except all forms of country, hip-hop, emo, and rap (yeah, yeah, you think I'm some sort of elitist, right?).
Favorite books :
Harry Potter series (the later ones are pretty dark, actually), some of the classic works of literature. Hell, even The Canterbury Tales.
Favorite tv :
Elfen Lied, FLCL, Tenacious D, Blood+, Gokusen, Eiken (hehehee), lots of Cartoon Network(why not?), all the old Nickelodeon shows like Pete and Pete, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Rocko's Modern Life, Ren and Stimpy, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Guts...I could go on all day...
Favorite movies :
Anchorman, The Pick of Destiny, Blues Brothers, Blues Brothers 2000, X, Read or Die, Escaflowne, Blood: The Last Vampire, Vampire Hunter D (no, I don't have an affinity for vampires), Pirates of the Caribbean 1, 2, and especially 3, and hundreds more that I can't think of right now.
I'm 19 and I've been playing guitar for 5 or 6 years now. I've been piddling with electronics since I was 8, and seriously since I was 17. I'm gonna go to college for industrial electrical engineering. All of my vintage guitars are restored by me (some still pending), and I must say that they play alot better than they look.
I like to repair and refinish guitars, basses, and the like. Eventually, I plan on building guitars and basses as well as cases and other accessories and eventually clone a 1963 Kay 704A Vanguard Vibrato amp and build pedals.
I am a bit reclusive, though I'm more outgoing around my friends, I like to build things and I like to work alone. I recently realized that I like to help people, though I harbor contempt for most of them (see: Jonathan Swift). I'm not an expert at anything, but I'm really good at alot of things (like a pseudo-gypsy). My friends are more important to me than they realize. I seem like I'm angry all the time, even if I'm quite content. Sometimes I act like a jerk, and I regret that. I'm averse to change, I'm too descriptive. I'm emotionally unstable (chronic depression, etc. but I'm getting better.), and I hate extremists. I have terrible luck. I have a warped sense of humor and am easily amused, I find beauty in what most would say the mundane, and apparently people think I'm funny, which makes me happy, I guess. I'm also a Grammar-Nazi.

I'm also a self-proclaimed guitar wiring expert :, so if you have a question about guitar repair, wiring, pedal building/repair, etc., don't hesitate to ask. I'll do my best to help in any way I can (though I know little about what pickups/amps/guitars are good for what genre, etc...).
