I know what you mean haha. gotta love chromatics. I used to use them a lot before I retired myself to the more melodic end of the spectrum.

That is a cool little metal thing you've got there, I love the riff on the rhythm track, its my kind of heavy for sure haha. I thought the chromatic lead riffing at first was a bit generic but I'm sure thats the sound you were going for. its sick, I'd definitely develop on that.

Well if you were in Perth I would be incredibly tempted but unfortunately I don't think you're from Aus and i'm quite pleased with how the Fireball is sounding now. Best of luck getting a Fireball though it's a great amp but check out the 100w version they are supposedly better than the 60 watter.

i actually prefer the sterility, because you can add your own color to the sound. It's more versatile than passives in that regard. I think that they're exceptionally clear and tonally accurate.
