Why do so many people hate slipknot?

I personally am a big fan of slipknot
i always see comments on youtube and other website about how bad people think they are

I just dont get why so many people hate them, can someone give me a good answer?

Metal Guitars

What is a good metal guitar
I play mostly Metallica, but also play All That Remains, Dream Theater, anything Thrash metal, hard rock, metal, death meatl etc.
I have an Ibanez RG350EX, and im looking at a ESP LTD MH-1000, are their any other good gutiars, mabye a little cheaper

Good Guitar Effects?

Ive been playing for a year and two months and i am now thinking of getting some effet pedals.
Currently I am looking at a Musicians Gear Powered Pedal Board, along with the digitech whammy pedal, delay pedal, and a hardwire distortion pedal. I alreday have a Marshall Jackhammer, and a Crybaby Wah. What are the best types of effects, please help if you can
