Metallica, Behemoth, Nile, Death, Cannibal Corpse, Decapitated, Despised Icon, Beneath the Massacre, Machine Head, SOAD, Children of Bodom, Slayer, Testament, Megadeth, Dethklok, Necrophagist, Aeon, Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying, Avenged Sevenfold, Black Dahlia Murder, Cryptopsy, Mudvayne, Pantera, Kataklysm, Disturbed. Some of these bands aren't the blackest of the black, but my doctor told me I need to let the blood in my ears dry sometimes.
Favorite guitarists :
Most people know the great guitarists so I'm crossing that word off and putting bassist: Ryan Martini, Eric Langlois, Stefan Fimmers, Geezer Butler, and Cliff Burton. I know their are legends like Sheehan, Claypool and Wooton, who I acknowledge to be amazing, but I can't honestly comment on their body of work.
