I had a growing interest of guitar in elementary school. In the sixth grade I bought my first guitar (a 50 dollar Yamaha from Cosco). Being young and new to the guitar, I quit shortly after from a lack of direction and inspiration. A short year later, the soul of my forgotten guitar haunted me and I was urged to once again to pick up the instrument and play again. That next birthday, a beautiful acoustic guitar was in my care.
Not to long later, I saved up some money to buy a "better" guitar, and a Epiphone SG later arrived on my doorstep. As a newbie, I fiddled around on it for a month until realizing I wasn't going anywhere. I went through that year of difficulty and once in a while had those weeks of decline every self-taught guitarist has.
Now I guess that brings me here. Now other than that stuff up there, there's not a lot to say about me. I live in a town bordering the great country of Mexico. Other than the occasional drug tunnel discovery, there isn't a lot of cool, exciting things that happen here, which is why I picked up the all-mighty guitar.
