I understand that you're not insulting the band, but I just fail to understand how you think that they are metalcore. There are no choruses sung with clean vocals, their guitars aren't tuned to drop C and their riffs do not sound at all like metalcore.

IMO bands like All That Remains and Killswitch Engage are metalcore, not bands like DevilDriver and Lamb of God.

LoG is one of my favorite bands, but I acknowledge they are definitely pretty simple and repetitive. I'm not sure how much I like the new album tho, from a couple of the songs I listened to it didn't sound like the original LoG sound that I liked.

I didn't even know what genre Lamb of God belonged to, but someone a while ago told me they were metal core too. I thought I hated anything with "core" in the name lol, but LoG is one of my favorite bands. Also what is Children of Bodom, LoG sounds similar to them in some of the songs in the new album.
