I was acussed of pushing Religion because I answered a question. I can't help if a person felt convicted at my Answer. The major problem I have is that I'm trying to push Religion. I'm here because I write and play original music and the reality is that some will like it and some will hate it. That is up to the individual. All I care is that some one listened to it. I'm not on UG preaching that people need to repent and be saved these songs actually represent my life the trials and tribulations I've faced in life so it is the perspective of the listener. Please if anybody on here(UG)as new listeners or even friends feel that I have pushed Religion let me know. I have no intentions on preaching or pushing religion here. I won't contend with what you believe nor will I change the way I believe. I'm here for the love of music not debate. There are other places for that. Thank you!
I agree with you on some points here. Such as the love of music, the fact your not "preaching", and doing your own thing. I, as a religious person (I go to church 3 times a week, and study the bible on a regular basis) and as a musician have made my own personal decision to keep the two things separate. You can continue as you do, but I have my own reasons as to why I don't write religious music. The fact is people are going to get annoying, and angry with you simply because they are too sensitive about it, and don't want "Jesus freaks" telling them what to do, and every little thing can set them off. If this is what you want to do, you can do it. Don't let those people bother you.
I firmly agree with you, this is a site for music and nothing more. If a person is here for any other reason they are in the wrong place. I believe this site is neither political nor religious, and it should stay that way. I respect the beliefs of others but I certainly do not want to be preached at. I, like yourself am here to share music, not my ideology. I say just keep doing what you are doing and don't let some idiot from who knows where bug ya, life's too short. By the way I really like your music, keep it up.
