Oh I know, I've heard so many good things about Lamb of God live shows. Heh, I must say I'm growing out of the whole moshing thing. Dare I say it, Lamb of God would probably be enough to release Mosh man however.

I've personally never been a big fan of moshing. It's fun to watch other people do, but it's not something I do. I usually just stand back, watch the band, bob my head, and headbang if I really get into it.

I'll +1 that. Nah, I haven't unfortunately, but from what I've heard they are damn awesome live.

That sucks, if you ever get a chance you need to go. I've seen them twice, and let's just say I could barely move my head the day after I saw them from headbanging so much.

I love the title track from Ashes. Also, one thing I love about Lamb of God, is everything sounds like them. When you hear a track, you instantly know it's them. That's an important thing to have.

Yeah, I know what you mean. They've definitely got a unique sound, or unique for metalcore at least. Have you ever seen them live?

Heh, it's not out until the 23rd, but that's when I start uni, so I got the leak. You thought Sacrament was a disappointment? Lord, I thought it had an amazing metal feel. Redneck got way cheesy after a while, but songs like Descending, and Blacken the Cursed Sun were and are badass. What records of theirs did you like? I'm a massive fan of Sacrament and Ashes of the Wake.

Blacken the Cursed Sun was one of the only songs I liked off that album. I don't know, something about it just didn't work for me. However, I really liked Ashes of the Wake. Their first two albums were great also, but Ashes is probably my favorite. I'll probably get the new album just to see what it's like though.

Hey dude, how goes?

Right now I'm trying to review Lamb of God's new record, but I have no idea what to think of it. I just can't make up my mind on it.

It's going pretty good. I'm working on some homework right now for this class that's ENTIRELY self-taught, which kinda sucks, but right now the material isn't too hard. I have a bunch more shit to do tonight too. I should probably get off of UG.

That sounds like fun. I didn't know the new album was already out though. I wasn't planning on picking it up since the last one was really disappointing, but I might download it and see what I think.

So, have you had a chance to check them out? Lolol, I want to know how much you hated them, and want to shoot me with a shotgun for enjoying them

I just watched the video for Love Addict. I'm not gonna lie, it was pretty fucking strange. They weren't really as bad as I expected them to be, but wow. Someone needs to tell the members to stop looking like women...

At least there were some hot chicks in the video!

Okay, so I've just got back from Parachute festival with my girlfriend, and I have found another guilty pleasure. They are everything I love to hate in a band, but I cannot get enough of them. It's a sweet mixture of Glam, Rap, Club, and Emo, with a shitload of stage presence thrown in for good measure. In short it's a bunch of skinny white guys from Atlanta Georgia with a huge stage ego (Glam + rap anyone?) with this cheesy gangsta emo glam cross over stuff. It's bloody amazing.

Uh, wow... Sounds interesting. What's the name of the band?

Dude, it's you! I haven't talked to you in ages. Things are going pretty well aye. I've just been working stuff out for the year to come. Heh, over the last weekend I met my girlfriends family. Hell that was nice and stressful haha, but I've come out the other side.

Also, nowadays I'm listening to shitloads of Nevermore. I can't get enough of Jeff Loomis, he is phenomenal.

Ooo meeting the parents, that's always fun. I'm a pretty likable guy though, so I've never had any problems with that. Glad it all went well. And good choice on listening to Nevermore. Pretty much every one of their CDs is awesome. I've been wanting to see their newest DVD that just came out too, I heard it's really good. As for me, I've kind of been on a ska binge lately, since I just found out that Streetlight Manifesto is coming to Austin! I'm so ridiculously excited.

Hey man, how are you doing? I haven't talked to you in a while, since I was pretty much off of UG/AIM for the past month. How's everything going?

As would I if I was lucky enough to own a guitar like that. I'm a poor poor student, else an ESP Eclipse would be one of the first things I'd be getting. They really are phenomenal guitars.

yeah, it's an LTD EC 1000...couldn't afford an ESP. I saved up the money and bought it before I started college and became a poor student, haha.

I hope you're not dying for the rest of my oh so amazing story or anything. I've been busy as hell all week and haven't gotten around to typing it up, but I'll probably have some time to do it this weekend.

I have to say, AWESOME choice in song. Executed a little less than perfect, but the fact that you have an Eclipse, Have a sweet lead tone, and played the A-team theme makes you undeniably full of win.

^_^ thanks. I love my EC.

Hmmm, cold and snowy is pretty close to what I expected. I think it'd be odd seeing New York covered in snow, but then again, I haven't been back to the states in a few years, so the idea of snow being everywhere is also fresh.

New Zealand is pretty dull actually. I finished Uni for the year on the 4th, and since then I've had absolutely nothing to do.

Oh, and before you decide to call me by my username, please don't. It's embarrassing enough to have to log in using heafyman, as it looks like I'm some 13 year old. Chris is far better.

Hi Chris! I'm Jessie :D

If you don't like New Zealand, why not leave :p

New York is cold and snowy....

What about you?

I kind of snapped out of it. I'm a big overthinker, but I realised that girls don't come by very often in a geeks world, so I need to make the best of it. That and she got home from work and was trying to get me to come over because she missed me. Heh, that kind of destroys the "Is she into me?" myth.

Dude, by all means, rant. What's this 'bullshit' about Texan girls?

I'll PM it to you in a little bit. It's pretty long and a little private/awkward, so a PM will be better, but I don't feel like typing it all up right this minute.

It most definately does suck. It makes you appreciate when a band does come though, which is why I made sure I let everyone know that I was an Alter Bridge fan, as I didn't think they were likely to come.

Sigh, sucks to fail stuff.

By the way, I'm in another relationship. I really like the girl, and she's alot like me. Only problem is I'm overthinking. Every other relationship I've been in has ended with WTFPWND, and so I'm trying with all of my strength not to fall for her, yet she does EVERYTHING right and I am falling for her. If that makes sense.

Dude, overthinking sucks balls. I'm kind of like that too when it comes to girls/relationships. I tend to over-analyze everything she says/does, and it's fucking annoying. I don't know what I can tell you, except for good luck, and I hope everything turns out right. Still no luck over here with girls, except for some bullshit that I won't get into, but hopefully that will change soon.
