Not too sure. In all honesty, that is my aunt's guitar. She got it in a little music shop in Wisconsin somewhere. But they're extremely hard to come by.

It doubles on the first 3 strings (e, B and G). There are no doubles for the bass notes (D, A and E).

It works the same way a 12 string does. It's like half 6 string and half 12 string.
