I study Pure Analytical Mathematics and Electrical Engineering. My interests are:
- Music (composing in particular)
- Mathematics (calculus in general is pretty fun)
- Anime (watching things like Fullmetal Alchemist, Code Geass, Mobile Suit Gundam)
- X-Country (long distance running)
Music: I am a massive fan of a sub-genre of Rock called Heavy Metal. I'm open to most styles in this particular strand, although I generally have a preference for anything complex and/or extreme. However, I'm very open-minded, listening to a large variety of styles.
Mathematics: I have completed one year of University and I am enjoying both sides of my degree. I am particularly interested in fields such as Chaos/Bifurcation in Mathematics and Digital Signal Processing in Engineering.
Anime: I've been watching anime since I first saw DBZ premiered on Cartoon Network in 1999 (Australia). Since then I've been interested in more complex stories such as FMA, Code Geass and MSG. I find these shows typicallly have great soundtracks (compositions are very interesting) and an awesome story that reflects problems in our current society.
X-Country: I do this for many reasons. One, to stay fit/healthy. Two, sharper mind. Three, enjoyment.
