I visited the local music store today. They told me that I shoud test out the Blackstar amps. I tried the 40 watt model. The cleans were great but the distortion wasn´t. I felt like it was missing something. It wasn´t punchy enough and it sounded a bit fuzzy, muddy, something like that. Well, the search continues...
The Blackstar HT Line isn't really great for anyone who is lookinb for that special tone.
It possibly is the most affordable tube amp for those who want to go from djent to southern rock to 80s metal KIND OF tones. It's sorta jack of all trades.
I highly recommend quality tube amps like Laney, Orange, Marshall, ENGL, Bogner and Framus and many more to be checked out. 2 things that most matter is the tone you're looking for and your budget.
