14th December 2007 will always be remembered as the day the Simple Stuff performed live for the second time. Only this time, it wasn't for a hand-full of spectactors but for a FULL, and I mean OVERLOADED, room. Official figures from the room's website counted 294 seats; there were people sitting on the stairs when I looked at the audience so, for the sake of my ego, let's say there were +300 people there. This is like the biggest crowd I've ever performed for ()
Here are some pics of the room; (From the Seats to the Stage) (From the Stage to the Seats)
Anyway, here are the songs we've played: (In order of performence)
Dani California - RHCP Boulevard of Broken Dreams - Greenday Understand - The Sheer Jingle Bells Rock - Traditional X-Mas Song =P
Since, it was my school's party and there were other bands to perform and such we had to keep the tracklist short.
Me and the boys have been rehearsing today and we've ended up recording part of the work.
So, you can now listen to part of our repertoire by clicking the link.
Yeah that's it, one year has passed since I first came across this place.
I've learned a lot since then and I've certainly played a lot more too.
This past 365 days have been part of a journey towards better guitar-ism and I can't help to thank the Community and the Ultimate-Guitar Staff who mantained a running website for all my musical needs.

How many of you are in a band?
I'm sure that by now people have come to you and asked: "What are your band's musical influences?"
I began to wonder if a band must always be influenced by another...and my thoughts were;
HELL NO!!
It wasn't untill I started playing in a band that I realised the musical creation process isn't confined to a musical genre but to the emotions and feelings of the person creating it. I know the whole "feelings" thing sounds like "Soap-Opera crap" but it's a true fact. So you don't always create a sound or write lyrics that sound like the music you hear.
From now on I leave the labelling to the Music Recording Companies and the Media.
I sound the way I want to and you don't like it unless you don't want to.
Well, for all of you that don't know it, I am currently working in what I like to call a "friends band".
We started out a few months ago and things have been going mighty fine.
Simple Stuff is our name and we have just performed for the FIRST TIME EVER live at our school for whoever wanted to see us.
So, with a line-up of:
Vocals & Rythm
Lead Guitar
Keyboard
Drums
We went to amaze ourselves by putting a good show for the audience!
Played; Dani California & Otherside from RHCP and Understand by The Sheer.
Well, I guess that's it. Thank you for letting me share this ^^
