When I'm not playing guitar, I'm usually working out, painting, reading or catching a movie. I don't watch a lot of TV unless it's on my DVR, usually a Sunday thing in between jamming sessions. I also brew beer on occasion with a couple friends of mine, we're thinking of building our own still to distill whiskey too.
When I can I like to travel, this summer it's going to be Europe for a month long back-packing trip in July, and a bunch of different concerts and festivals, Back and fourth between Vegas and LA (my real hometown) maybe an east coast jaunt in September and where ever else I can go with the granted time and resources.
I like to have a good time and I like to experience the energy that flows around me.
I'm also a former Silver Gloves and Golden Gloves Boxer in LA, but when I moved to Vegas years ago, I really didn't have the passion anymore to train 6 days a week, it sort of sucks not to be in the same shape that I was, but eh I'm quite pleased with making music, making art and having sex (which is still exercise). So, now I just resort to the training twice a week and get practice in Bar fights.
I work on cars, mainly other peoples projects being that I don't have the room to get much going on at my place. Not really a "gear head" it's just relaxing in it's own sort of way and it's like finishing an album when you get something running that was a piece of shit at one point.
I've been playing guitar about 10 years now, the theory is sort of a newer thing, just the past year and half or so, just wanted to know what the hell I was doing, I think it's made a lot better too. I can work a piano, though I'm not terribly proficient at it, I've been playing bass for about a year now too. Whatever I can do to get my juices flowing.
