I will admit, I have been told quite often that I'm very good at guitar, especially for my age. Yesterday, at my guitar lesson, I got an offer from my guitar teacher to play at a gig - with his band! Not only that, he told me he was recording some metal for a CD that he was putting out, and he asked me if I would mind recording with him on that album!
Also, my guitar teacher isn't like some guy down the block that happens to play guitar and just needs some money. He is part of a Black Sabbath tribute band Mr. Crowley, that tours all around the country. He is also in another band called Slap Maggy (the one I'm gonna be playing with) that is very popular around here.
