I'm back, with some interesting news. Well. Casual Tuxedos is no longer just that. The lead singer Bekah, left quite abruptly to start something with our bud Taylor.. No hard feelings, but I was quite pissed off at the time. But thats just fine, were all good now. And we found a new singer, and Finally got a reliable drumer, This guy Chris Burrows, who lives across the street from me. Hes pretty down to earth, I think, for a 7th grader at the age of 13.... So were in production stages when his friend Nate came over and sung for us. In one day I learned Killing in the name by Rage against the machine. Thanks Nate, I owe you one. Also..... Tyler Newlin, New singer Haven't heard him, from what I've heard hes good, but I haven't heard him actually sing sing, you know? So a week after the RatM incedent I went over Chris' for some practice and this dude DDIK shows up, and we played some riffs together, I kinda liked the guy, so we decided (or so I had thought) on changing the name of WARFARE (Me, Chris, Nate, DDIK) to Demons in the Dark.... But actually, we made a whole other band (Me, Chris, and DDIK) So I'm technically in 3 bands, not counting the other one I haven't spoken of.
This other one is CT's new name, Which we decided would now be Nerve Damage. But I don't know for how long it'll be that. So, ND now consists of Me, Tim, Chris, Jordan, and Tyler. And we still have nothing accomplished. Mainly because Tim has a shit Amp/ Ibanez guitar that sucks, and because Jordan won't just get a damn bass, he MUST have a guitar for some reason or another.
On a personal interlude. Me and Alison (the most wondeful person in the world. period.) broke up for a month or so, on our 6 month anniversary. with blew, yes, but I started dating this chick Molly, whom , yes is cool , and yes, is quite cute, but she realy was nothing to Alison. Alison and I got back together recently (On what would've been our 7month anniversary) and we've been happy since.
And back to serious business. I got my electric guitar, a Nice Epiphone Les Paul, costed me $300 and I love it to death, and an Ibanez Tone Blaster 15X amp, which was ~120 I think. Very happy, play about what, um... 15 hours a day, which includes guitar class.
I mastered the pentatonic scale (big accomlishment, lmao!), and then I got into some SOAD Drop C stuff, and now I'm hitting the chromatic scale, sweep picking and my favorite, tremolo picking. All of this is because of one of my new favorite bands, Avenged Sevenfold. Synyster is just too beast. Once I get past Sweeping (which is going to take a year, I think....)
So. Any questions? comments? concerns? Well, that sucks. I don't really care ;P
