Just a quick about me sort of blog. My name is George and I've been playing bass for about 4 years I believe. I'm not as good as I probably should be but I enjoy it nonetheless. I'm no good at playing by ear or anything like that, I fail at tabbing songs, tuning by ear and everything else that involves musical skill. I own two bass guitars, a Spector Legend 5 and a Peavey Milestone III. A practice amp, Peavey Micro Bass, which is excellent as a starter amp. An effects unit thing, Line 6 Bass Floor Pod, which I use just to mess around with mostly, it's good for just £100 I think I've recently joined a band called Coma White where at the moment we just play a few covers at the moment, I've yet to play a show with them. I'm a bit annoyed at the moment as I've been wanting to learn a new song but I just can't think of a good one I'd like within my skill, so I've been messing about and I've started to get some alright riffs in my head.
