G.N. is, among many things, a lifelong lover of music and words. He is the author of the rock novel 'Sticks And Strings' found here on UltimateGuitar.com as well as other orphan stories floating around out there in this realm of existence. Although admittedly opinionated, he is not so arrogant to devalue others and their thoughts, welcoming insight from every perspective because he believes we can debate without needing to put others down. It's called individuality because the differences are what we find interesting about other people, to each their own!
Whenever he's not writing or surrounded by thousands of fellow concert devotees cheering and headbanging, G.N. can be found cooking up a storm in his kitchen or out and about town, indulging in amateur photography or chatting up friends over a game of cards, (modesty forbid, but he's pretty good!) It's become a bit of a running joke that he has a little blood in the coffee stream, a sentiment that in retrospect, might not be so farfetched. While it's no secret he's a diehard metal fan, many other genres receive equal love as well; jazz, blues, classical, even more contemporary stuff.
As G.N. himself puts it: "I'm just a simple guy doing what he loves, with a simple philosophy about life: Treat me with respect and you'll be respected in return."
