About Fuzzle
I'm a Materials Engineer with a B.S. from Purdue University and am currently a PhD student at Drexel University who just so happens to play bass. I've been playing bass since 2008 and enjoy a good jam. Haven't had much time to play since my gear is in another state.

For the record, boiling or baking your strings will do nothing to them at the temperatures that you can get your oven to as far as relieving the residual stress from having them constantly under tension. This is not annealing at all. Anyone who wants to argue will lose after I direct your attention to a few sources and give you a crash course in basic materials knowledge.
