Favorite bands :
I wont bother saying them all, but I'm mostly into true Punk, Ska, and Reggae but i do listen to at least a few artists in just about every genre. As long as it sounds good and has feeling, and especially a message i relate too, I'll give it a chance.
Favorite guitarists :
Johnny Ramone inspired me, and the Clash opened the doors to new guitar styles for me. I have carpaltunnel(or at least a condition like it) so i dont play much anymore but i still appreciate great playing and style. When i do play, i prefer my acoustic and early Against Me!/Bob Dylan style playing.
Favorite bassists :
Mike Watt is a genius. Josh Ansley's playing on Keasbey Nights by Catch 22 is great...as a matter of fact, i love most Reggae bassists ive heard.
Favorite books :
I've stopped reading like i used to, but i wish i had time. i last read 1984 by George Orwell for the second time, as well as all the Harry potter and goosebumps books as a kid haha.
Favorite tv :
Not much for TV, but always the NASCAR series races (cup, nationwide, trucks) and IRL races. Don't forget Family Guy! Oh and police video shows.
Favorite movies :
SLC punk is great even with the false representation of anarchist beliefs. Blues Brothers never gets old, along with Back to the Future, Ferris Bueler. I also love documentaries and movies with a message or lesson to it.
Im turning 18 in a few weeks, and just graduated. Im generally a nice guy unless you get on my bad side. My interests are mainly music and my beautiful and wonderful Sarah (you know her as Spookieship), and Ive been a UG member for a few years (this profile is new though). I live in Georgia, and a NASCAR fan. My fitting into what you may think of as a typical southerner ends there though, as I am a big believer in any intolerance of someone based on their "race" or sexuality. IM me if you'd like to chat about anything to do with music, politics, etc.
