Well, I'm in the unusual position of having recordings of my playing through the last 4 years. I can trace my playing, styles, etc, through practically my entire playing history. I thought it might be cool for people to see how my playing has changed over the years, and to show people that I was not born with chops or knowing theory, and by extension that anyone can do anything I do. I hope this interests you -
I just wish Allan Holdsworth or someone else of that kind of stature had been recorded every week from the day they picked up the instrument, and then we'd really be going places!
Should really record some new music soon, but have been distracted and uninspired. I have some material, but not worth uploading till I get a decent guitar tone for it.
More to the point, i should say that month 2 involved lots of practice, and month 3 involved lots of slacking and covering computer game themes. I should be doing some consolidating my lessons and adding to them to do a music theory vid and a bit more stuff for the AT sticky (in the works).
Any suggestions are welcome in the forums or via PM. Keep it real fellas, and i should be able to post a excel file with all my practice log in it.
Planning to start some serious proper practice again soon. It seems my practice suffers when i'm depressed and i won't be again for a while and i can get shit done music wise. Also, i'll be an assistant teacher on a music course in August, get that gig and nail it and I could be teaching that course next year.
