Sure have. A mild fan of them. In fact I believe they're from right around where I live... they've played a few shows here a little while back, but they were in bars and such and I was not yet old enough to get in to them.

Of all the people I've ever asked that question, only Georgians have answered 'yes'. Anyways, just wondering, 'cause they're one of my favorite bands. Really inspiring and all that jazz.

Music stuff is relevant to the question, but perhaps equally so is an animation program of some kind. Know anything? It's not for me - my girlfriend is looking for a somewhat more local school now that her original plan of going to Tokyo is looking a little less likely.
Most conservatories are located in the north east around New York and Boston. There are music programs in many universities throughout the US, but you need to consider going up east if you want to study in a conservatory. I don't know much about schools for visual arts though...
