Steven actually lives in Tel Aviv, but close enough, and yes, Infected Mushroom are from Haifa.

No, in the Israel-Lebanese war. Maybe it's the same war, I don't really know. He said the place is very beautiful (all of it).

I've gotten called an "Arab-lover" myself. I don't really care, that's who I am, deal with it. And the governments really are shit both sides of the border.

We get some good bands here, like my two favourite active bands, Porcupine Tree and Opeth, but we don't have that many shows here. This year was a bit different though, lots of artists played here.

I've always come to understand that Lebanon is a pretty good country (at least the north). My father said it was beautiful (he served there in the first Lebanon war. Hated every minute of it. stupid war).

Well, some of the population here is racist towards Arabs, which I hate (the racism I mean, not Arabs), but there are nice people and some mean ones, same as anywhere. I like living here in general though. It's pretty interesting. I'd love to visit Lebanon though.
