I thought i would write a little about the artists that have touched me most musically. As you will see they are from different eras and i hope you´ll like them too and maybe it will get you to find some new music.
1.Pearl Jam
I remeber putting on Ten for the first time and hearing the intro to Once, from then on i was a fan...a HUGE fan. Their first album, Ten, is a masterpiece- Rock at its best! Songs like Alive, Even Flow, Deep, Release me...WOW!
I love all their other albums too and their songs have inspired me in writing music!
2.Bob Dylan
Best songwriter ever! Albums like blood on the tracks and Another side of bob Dylan contain some of the best songs ever, in my opinion. It is such simple but great music and lyrics that are poems! I´ve been stuck with dylan now for about two years, listening every day to some!
3. Jimi Hendrix
i´m a guitarist, of course i worship hendrix! Axis:bold as love, Electric Ladyland and Woodstock! the improvisation at woodstock is the best thing ever recorded with an electric guitar, wow!
4.Stevie Ray Vaughan
I got into SRV when i got into blues. he was such an amazing player and tracks like Lenny and Pride and Joy prove it!
5. Led Zeppelin
here i got to thank my father he owns the I-IV albums and i listened to them as a kid. need i say more than heartbreaker, stairway to heaven and thank you?
