Can't hear the bass, badly mixed (well, it's NOT mixed) but I still like it. Some pretty chunky synths, ok guitars and good drums. A friend said it reminded him of Devin Townsend.
I quite like it, I feel like I'm getting better at mixing. The synths are a bit all-over, but it's nothing too bad. Everything made with FL Studio except for the guitars, which are recorded with a Zoom G2.1U. Ends abruptly, don't know why the strings were rendered a bit short, but it's ok.
I take no credit in the playing skills, since a lot of studio magic has been applied on the guitar tracks... Sorry, but I just can't play that well (apparently) :)
Half of the guitars are played in dropped C, the other half in Dropped D with ReaPitch (a pitch shifter that comes with Reaper) being used to drop them down 2 semitones. Can you hear which half is "fake" and which is "real"?
