Ok, so I've been in Thailand for almost 6 months now, I'm going back to Sweden again in April. There's alot of things you hate and alot of things you love about the paradise.
Let me just start off by telling you about the good stuff: The beaches, the people (some of them), the food, the prices (it's really cheap) it doesn't matter if you're born a retard as long as you're capable of doing the job. They have some really good bands like Retrospect and Sweet Mullet.
Well, as I said, there's alot of great stuff here but there's alot of bad and fucked up things too: If you're a local Thai you get things much cheaper than a falang (tourist), some roads here are really bad, if you get caught by the police without a Thai driving licence you have to pay them 300 baht and then you're free to go. I've talked to a lot of tourists who have been involved in car accidents usually with Thai people telling that it's always the falangs fault. "If you (tourist) weren't here, this wouldn't have happened!" what the hell?!
And the other day, the police took my brother for no reason...they were like standing at a traffic circle and thinking: "hmm, he looks like a ass, let's take him." ok, he didn't have a Thai driving licence and you shouldn't drive without one but when he got his ticket it said that he didn't stop at the red light...IT'S A F*CKING RONDELL! THERE ARE NO STOP LIGHTS!!!! gaaaaaaah! I'm not saying that ALL the police are like that.
I love Thailand but thinks that the system's fucked up. Thank you and good night
