I'd be lying if I told you that I wasn't a f****ing weirdo. I even have weird habits [When I eat things, I have to eat them in sections. For example, I can't take a bite out of my hamburger, eat a couple of fries, then drink some sprite. I have to eat all of my fries, then all of my hamburger, then drink my Coke...or did I say sprite? I love Sprite!! But overall, I'm actually a really cool guy.
What I do...
I'm a musician. Basically...I have no life. Us musicians...our lives ARE music. We breathe music. We eat music. We drink music. We sleep and dream music. We Sh*t music. We date music. We rape music. We make music, and music makes us. We are music and music is us.
Instruments? I've been playing the piano for 6 years now, and can improvise a song that may make you think I had been practicing it for ages. I've also been playing the guitar since my 17th B-day, And surprisingly, it wasn't that big of a transition. If you were viewing this within my first few months on Myspace, I would have said guitars are lame and overrated. However, after a year of playing the guitar, I can only go back to a keyboarded instrument if it has a good tone. Basically, cheap Kmart keyboards 'aint gonna' cut it. But the Piano is still my first Love.
I also create my music on my computer. I use two music programs, FL Studio and Reason4.0 [The latter is a bit more complex and i wouldn't advise using it if you are an aspiring computer DJ, or if you don't have a controller]. Why don't I upload some of my tracks? Because none of them are finished, all they are is a bunch of samples that sound cool. Samples that may make, or break my career when I turn them into full-length songs. However i have recently started to collaborate with a friend of mine. So if you wait long enough you may end up hearing some of my stuff.
Let's see what other Loser-ific things EnDZym3 does...
I play a lot of Video Games. My favorite series include The Elder Scrolls, Halo, .Hack, Silent Hill, Devil May Cry, Super Smash Bros. and a few others I can't think of right now. Oh yeah, Indigo Prophecy is also one of my favorite games.
I like to write short stories, lyrics, and poetry. I keep all of them in a shoe box [Vans size 13]. I have plans to publish the best of my short stories and poetry someday in the future, as well as an autobiography [if i become a successful musician...or just successful period]
I also love anime, my favorite series is .Hack [pronounced Dot Hack]. I have an ungodly .Hack collection. It includes booster boxes from the trading card games, manga/novels, games, DVD's, soundtracks, Posters, plushies, keychains and action figures. Honestly, i think the obsession started while I was still in elementary, back when I had no friends. [like i do now?] I randomly picked up the first game from the first series because I had money left over from buying Devil May Cry 2. The simulated AI in the game made me feel like I actually had friends. Now, almost 8 years later...I have a .hack collection larger than than the mole on the inside of your mother's leg [I use a lot of "yo momma" jokes. I never mean them.
WTF? EnDZYm3? That's Random!!!
Actually it's not...it was a name I created through a very intricate process of self-examination. The name EnDZYm3 is also a stage name [EnDZYm3 is pronounced enzyme btw. not enzeem, or NZ-me]. As a musician, I'm not known as Anthony Davis or Anthony Pratt [my mom's maiden name is Pratt and by law, it's still my last name], I'm known as EnDZYm3. If I were to explain the name EnDZYm3 to you,It would baffle you how closely related the name and I are related. But chances are, I probably won't won't tell you how I came up with the name. So don't bother asking.
I like the name EnDZYm3 because it let's me put people into categories based upon they're responses to my name.
"WTF? EnDZYm3? That's a GAY name!" = ASSHOLE
"How'd you get that name?" = FRUITCAKE
"EnDZYm3? That's cool..." = KISSASS
"I figured out how you got your name!!" = FANBOY
"Why would you name yourself after a male enhancement pill?" = JACKASS [that would be ENZYTE, JACKASS]
