An Imaginary Conversation.

When Aleksei was but 15 years old, he took the narcotic substance known as “acid”, and he called out to God. He called out and prayed and wept, for no God came to him in his remorse, and in his melancholy. Aleksei then called out to Satan, and Satan came to him.

Aleksei raised his teary eyes to the Lord of Destruction in front of him and asked, “Why is it that you come unto me, while God does not?” and Satan looked down upon him and said, “Because I care for those who care not for imperfection, I care for those who accept me, and I hurt those who do not… For I am real, and in my eyes, I am God”.

Throughout the next few days, Aleksei called out and wept to God, and he did scream to the heavens, “In my eyes I am perfect; I am in the image of you, why do you not speak to me? Are you not willing to bring yourself down for those who love you? Are you such an arrogant being?”

But still, no answer came.

Aleksei again called out to Satan, and asked him, “Why is it, that God does not answer my callings?”, and Satan looked to Aleksei and answered, “It is because only the worthy keep faith without knowing, and God will only accept those into heaven, who accept being below, and who accept being tortured with doubt and unknowing the truth”.

Aleksei raised his head, and asked, “Why is the perfect being a sadist?” and was replied, “Because as all who are hurt and proved wrong, he wills not to have perfection around him, thus was I banished from the heavens, as I believed myself to perfection, but the arrogant being whom you call ‘God’, would not accept such”. Aleksei turned his back on Satan, and looked unto the horizon asking, “If you believe yourself to be perfect, and God knew it to be true, how is it that he had the power to banish you?” and Satan appeared in front of him again, looking into the eyes of Aleksei, answering: “Because both me and God have different perceptions of perfection, and as he thinks he is perfect, I do think all others are perfect, and the way they were meant; for I accept those who are different, while God wills all to be the same…”
