Favorite bands :
In order from favorite descending:
The Who, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Eric Johnson, The Sugarhill Gang, Collective Soul, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Beatles, The Clash, Lynyrd Skynyrd, "Weird Al" Yankovic
Favorite guitarists :
My all time favorites are Pete Towshend and Jimmy Page but I also like:
Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Eric Johnson (I consider him to have the most skill, but I really like Townshend, although EJ is by far better), Jim West, Mike McCready
Favorite bassists :
If bassists were all based on a scale of 1-10, people like John Paul Jones being in the top 8-10, John Entwhistle would be 24/10. He is by far god on bass. No one, I repeat NO ONE is better. But who doesn't like Krist Novoselic's crazy giantness. He's the Paul Bunyan of bass.
Favorite books :
Jurassic Park was a good book, it's so realistic you forget it's fiction. I also loved the Clapton Autobiography.
Favorite tv :
Seinfeld. You know you love it. I also occasionally watch Spongebob. Shut up.
Favorite movies :
I love to watch the Harry Potter movies because I'm a nerd, but gotta love UHF, and good action movies. My least favorite movie is Napoleon Dynamite, that movie had absolutely no plot and was about a mental kid and his life of stupid puns and jokes we've all heard before. I don't need to watch that movie, I can just walk down the school hallways and live in that movie.
Hola my fellow guitarists, drummers, bassists, and other rockers. How are you doing today?
I am a Stratocaster player, I listen to Led Zepplin, The Who, and many more (below) but more importantly, I rock.
I'm not into metal, I honestly don't get that whole genre. Some old metal like original Metallica is ok, but now it's screaming that seems completely stolen from previous rock and grunge movements, and gone bad over time.
Modern rock is total crap, I'm talking Panic at the Disco(!), Fallout Boy, and dare I say, the Jonas Brothers. They are all money-inspired guys who have no passion to play and are in it for nothing but glory. Take a look at Jo Bros. They don't do their lowrate solos, there's a guy in the back of every concert playing for them. That's not good musicianship.
The only good modern band is one of my favorites, Collective Soul.
I am highly against modern rap, I mostly hate Eminem, Soulja Boy, and Lil Wayne. Old school rap is pretty great though. As seen below, The Sugarhill Gang made the list.
I'm more of a Grunge, American Punk (I don't find British Punk as appealing), and Classic Rock guy.
