As hinted by the title, I will record a (mostly) improvised idea every day as part of a "musical sketchbook" of ideas. Each "song" (if you can call it that) will likely be around or under a minute in length. Some may be as simple as a chord progression or a synth drum pattern. Others might be expirements, such as a multi-guitar harmony test. Still, others might be like structured songs or expansions of previous ideas. Also, if feelling especially inspired, i might record longer songs, or multiple songs a day. After recording many ideas, i may merge some of them into a full song or a compilation of sorts.
This idea was inspired partially by the Nine Inch Nails Ghosts I-IV album in which Trent Reznor and other programers/musicians created thirty "seeds" (not all can be considered songs) and compiled them into an album. One of the earliest of my recordings is the Opeth-style improvisation.
