Ummm I would reccomend Eldorado for the more Orchestra based stuff or Out of the Blue for loads of killer pop songs or Time for killer synth pop songs. But to be totally honest, of the 9 albums I have, i love absolutely every single song so any album is bound to be a winner! You have any favourite song?! |
I like Mr. Blue Sky and Don't Bring Me Down a lot, but they're all pretty good. I think I might check out Out Of The Blue later

Mick92 wrote on May 29th, 2009 12:16pmYeah, me too. I can't believe that I haven't see Hanoi's live. Year ago they make acoustic gig in Jyväskylä but i wasn't interested to see their acoustic concert. I just think that i would go to their next Jyväskylä gig but that acoustic gig was their last gig in Jyväskylä. That's sad. quote |
Mick92 wrote on May 28th, 2009 8:59amDo you have seen Hanoi's concerts in tv? I have seen their goodbye concert (Live in Kulttuuritalo) and it's best concert i've ever seen! I have Nottingham Tapes in computer and i have seen Live at Marquee Club in youtube. quote |

Great songs. Great album too. I just hope they do something again sometime... |
We can only hope that they still want to make music, otherwise at their age they might just retire.

that sounds pretty awesome! As much of a douche the lazer guy probably was, he still sounds pretty awesome Though uncool about lack of Lynne...
So, any particular favourite ELO song(s)?! |
I really like Tightrope (The whole New World Record really), and Mr. Blue Sky.

Wow, you freaking lucky bitch :!! I'm pretty sure i'll never have the chance to see them, sadly, i guess i can always just hope though!! |
You'll enjoy this story from the show I bet. During the first half, there was a guy somewhere in the balcony who was shining a laser pointer onto the guitarist's hand and top of his head, and he was getting super pissed off. So during intermission he came out and said, "Whoever it is that has the laser pointer, security is looking for you." I just thought that was hilarious.
Unfortunately, they didn't have one of their main singers with them, Jeff Lynne I think.

Kentris.5 wrote on Apr 2nd, 2009 9:51pmI also agree that ELO rocks. They were the very first concert I saw when I was a kid. quote |
