Breaking the Law   (02:33)
Breaking the Law by Judas Priest. This song is extremly simple, and I decided to improvise a guitar solo. The quality is crap because I ripped the audio from my video camera. I could hardly hear the song, and I feel lucky that I was able to even hit the final note. { Tags : Metal, Judas, Priest, Peavey, Fender, Boss, Marshall, tone, Blues, junior }

MMVIII   (01:09)
A bluesy improv I recorded using headphones plugged into the mic jack of my PC, and recorded directly to Audacity. I used my Boss ME-50 to get the tone, using the compressor/sustainer, H-S tone, and that's all. I used my MG15DFX for this one. { Tags : Blues, solo, improv, guitar }

316   (01:38)
Cover of Eddie Van Halen's 316 from the FUCK album. A beautiful little guitar peice that originated as a lullaby for Eddie's son, Wolfgang. I used my ME-50 for pretty much all of the tone. The rest came from my Peavey HP Signature EXP. The amp I used was a Marshall MG15DFX. Who says the MG can't do cleans? { Tags : 316, Van, Halen, guitar, instrumental, acoustic, Peavey, Marshall, Boss, effects, pedal }

A Minor Affair   (03:19)
I've got a jazzy-blues things going on here, very laid back and care-free. I'm trying to emulate BB King here, and I don't really know what happened or how I did this, but I think it turned out great. The backing tracks I used can be found at: http://www.free-guitar-chords.com/blues-backing-tracks.htm { Tags : Blues, guitar, solo, backing, track, jam, improvised, improvisation, Peavey, Boss }

Blues Master   (02:32)
Bluesy guitar solo. I pushed up the volume on my Blues Junior to make the dirty-blues tone, and used just the wah and reverb from my ME-50, because the reverb on my BJ is broken. { Tags : Peavey, Boss, Fender, Blues, Improv, guitar, Junior }

Folk Song Suite Pt. 1   (03:31)
Janesville Parker's Wind Ensemble playing the first movement of Folk Song Suite by R. Vaughan Williams for our spring concert. I'm playing the solo trumpet part. Conducted by John Biester. { Tags : Trumpet, classical, Vaughan, Williams, band, Parker, solo }

An American Elegy   (11:24)
The combined Parker Band, consisting of Concert (freshman) band, Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble, playing "An American Elegy" composed by Frank Ticheli. It was composed in memory of the survivors and those who died in the Columbine school shooting. If you listen for a trumpet player going way too loud, that is me. I sound like crap, and I am embarrased. That is not me on the solo, however. Conducted by John Biester. { Tags : columbine, frank, ticheli, band, parker, janesville, shooting, classical, American }

Folk Song Suite Pt. 2   (03:59)
The second movement of Folk Song Suite written by R. Vaughan Williams, as played by the Parker Wind Ensemble at our annual Spring Concert. Conducted by John Biester { Tags : Parker, band, classical, music, trumpet, solo, english, folk }

Folk Song Suite Pt. 3   (04:17)
The third movement of Folk Song Suite by R. Vaughan Williams, played by the Janesville Parker Wind Ensemble, conducted by John Biester. I'm playing the solo trumpet part. Due to recent interest: at around 2:15-2:20, I think upper woodwinds (flute, clarinet and the Eb clarinet) are trilling. { Tags : Parker, band, classical, Vaughan, Williams, solo, trumpet }

Jamboree   (03:23)
Blues and country mix. This one is pretty crappy, because the lead and rythym don't agree much. The backing tracks I used can be found at: http://www.free-guitar-chords.com/blues-backing-tracks.htm { Tags : Country, blues, guitar, solo, improvised, improv, Peavey, Boss, jam }

Roadhouse Blues   (03:28)
Another very loose and laid back track. The backing track reminded me of something you would hear in a bar, and that's the feeling I was trying to emulate with this one. I love the dirty blues. The backing tracks I used can be found at: http://www.free-guitar-chords.com/blues-backing-tracks.htm { Tags : Blues, jam, guitar, solo, improvisation, improvised, improv, Peavey, Boss }

Rockin' Blues   (03:45)
I definitely loaded too much distortion on this one. Trying to keep a loose feel, mixing blues with 50's rock and roll. This is the loosest feeling of them all, I think. The backing tracks I used can be found at: http://www.free-guitar-chords.com/blues-backing-tracks.htm { Tags : Blues, jam, guitar, rock, roll, improvisation, improvised, improv, Peavey, solo, Boss }

Ballad of Grover   (03:06)
A very loose and laid black blues song. The lead doesn't quite fit in some places, and I didn't really practice this one much before recording. The backing tracks I used can be found at: http://www.free-guitar-chords.com/blues-backing-tracks.htm { Tags : blues, guitar, solo, jam, improvised, improvisation, improv, Peavey, Boss }

My Lady and Me   (03:31)
The guitar volume is way too loud. I tried to keep a very loose and soft feel this one. I think I succeeded at that much, I could have done a little better, and made a more distinct solo. I love the swells, though, running through the pentatonics. The backing tracks I used can be found at http://www.free-guitar-chords.com/blues-backing-tracks.htm { Tags : Blues, backing, track, peavey, guitar, solo, improvised, fender, junior, boss, multi, effects }

Fretboard Wankery   (06:50)
Title explains all. Just foolling around and such; audio ripped from my YouTube video { Tags : Fretboard, wankery, shred, guitar, solo, improvisation, canon, pachelbel, Van, Halen, Eddie, Cathedral, Peavey, Boss, Fender, ME50, Blues, Junior, rock, metal }

Love In Space   (06:47)
Second track off my electronic album. I started off just messing around with a chord progression, and then stuff happened and here it is. Lazy drum work...

Fanfare   (00:41)
Track one off my electronic album. Simple fanfare, took a couple minutes. Not much to say.

Convict   (04:01)
Track three of my electronic album. I don't know why, but this album made me think of a big dude in the classic black-and-white prison stripes, with a giant weight chained to his leg.
