Yeah, so I just purchased this CD the other day. I was originally looking for some Iron Maiden or some Judas Priest, but for whatever reason, I couldn't locate either of them. And yes, I was at a music store. I don't like buying music from Wal-Mart. Buying music from Wal-Mart is like... buying a guitar at Target. It's just not right. Or something like that.
So, I'm in the neighborhood, and I see Joe Satriani. I like Surfing With the Alien, and some of his other work. So I'm considering some Satch. Dilemma: What to get. I narrow it down pretty quickly to either The Extremist or Professor Satcha... yeah. The new one. I just decided on Professor Satch because I read the review here on UG, and it's Satch. How could I resist?
It is definitely one of the best CDs I've listened to. It's got a different feel to it. It's not as fast-paced as SWTA, but it's still a good album. I'm glad I got it. Now that I think of it, Iron Maiden or Judas Priest could not have satisfied me when there was some Satch to be had. Yeah, metal is cool and whatever, but it just gets boring.
So... yeah. I'm tired and bored, and when that happens, I post blogs. I'm listening to some Steve Vai right now, actually. The Elusive Light and Sound. I bought that when I was buying Professor Satch. Check out Professor Satch. I'll post a review soon, so I can increase my score.
