We've just implement a little feature to our Requests section -- the "Did you mean" thingy, same as all search engines have.
For example, when you enter Metalica - One and press Submit button the system tells you:
Did you mean
· metallica · midlake · mark medlock
and so on...
This verification works for both band names and song titles. You are able to ignore these suggestions and request a tab you want by pressing Submit button once again.
I really hope this little addition will decrease a total amount of misspelled requests
As you might know there was a tiny shortcoming in our UGP private messages system: when you constantly answer one and the same PM you get "Re: Re: Re: Re:" etc. in the message's title. We fixed that so now it should be "Re: Re[3]:" Cooooool )))
3. Favorite tabs.
If you have fav tabs -- you know what I'm talking about. Previously those tabs were sorted by date of their addition to this list. But now they are sorted by artists! Check it out.
4. Joining Group. Notification.
Now when you're joining the group the sistem asks you something like "Do you really want to join this group?" We made this to avoid accidental joinings.
5. UGP Playlist.
We have slightly redone UGP Playlist. Now if you want to edit it you have to go to My Profile -> My Mp3s -> My Playlist. You won't find any edit playlist options on your public page (where they've been before) anymore.
6. Also we've made some other improvements, but they are not so vitally important for you.

- Tab Requests improvement
- Edit comments on UGP (not general site)
- Something else....
The new feature has just been implemented! Now you're able to request a tab!
Counters:
1. Tabs requested by you - shows how many tabs you have requested.
2. Requests honored by you - shows how many requests you have honored by using the green "submit" link in front of the tab on the Tab Requests page. The tab should be approved and posted on the site, otherwise this your submission doesn't count here.
3. Total score - shows total scors you've got by honoring the requests. Depend on amount of votes for a certain tab.
Options:
1. Vote - just adds one vote for a tab.
2. Subscribe - adds your e-mail to our spam list you'll get an e-mail notification when desired tab appears on the site.
Check your spelling! Don't make a trash from this tool.
As we all know -- UG is the best! And we've just become a little bit closer to the world domination. Below are some features we've just implemented. Let's start.
1. UGP Playlist. There's no more necessity to bookmark all profiles to listen to your favorite songs that other UGers made. You are now able to compose your own playlist from your favorite tracks!
Every song has an "Add" link in its stats string. Just click this link to add the song to your playlist. That's easy, isn't that? And now you may to ask: "Cool! But where is my playlist?!" It's located on you public profile page. For example: http://profile.ultimate-guitar.com/Dyuha/ There is an additional tab under your player if you have one. Otherwise there's just a playlist on you index profile page.
When you open your playlist page for the first time there are two fields -- Playlist title and Playlist Description. You could fill them to name and describe you playlist! The rest is all clear there I hope.
You can add songs from the users' profile and from the bands' ones as well.
2. My mp3 Listeners. If you have any mp3s uploaded to your profile -- you are now able to see who have listened to them. You just need to go to "My mp3s" option from the user menu and then click on My Listeners link.
There is a list of the users that have listened to your songs for the last month, but the max number of listeners we are store is 20. There is a date and time then every user has listened to the latest song and the total number of songs listened. This info is fo the last 24 hours. If the user have listened to any song later than 24 hour from his latest listening -- all previous records are removed.

3. Friendship requirements. As you might know -- we've added a necessity to write some text to send a friend request recently. And now there is a possibility to configure a reception of friend requests more efficiently. Go to "Account Settings" -> "Friendship" and choose what other users have to get filled in their profiles for being able to add you to their friends list. That means in case you want to receive friend requests from users that have uploaded at least one mp3 file -- just choose that option from the list and the users without mp3s won't be able to even send you a friend request.

4. Band's mp3s. You were able to configure a number of tracks that are shown on you profile, but you weren't able to do that for your own band's profile. And now you can! Just go to "Edit Band Profile" and configure an mp3 player settings!

Hi there! I have some news for you once again. We've made some cool additions once again. Let's look at them:
1. Now there's a little text box on the friend request sending page. That means you have to write a short message that will be attached to your request for a friendship. Otherwise, you are not able to send a friend request!
2. Recent Profile Visitors. Finally we've completed this feature! You can view a list of your profile visitors for the past month (but limit is 100 users) on your private page. They are above a Friends section. Also, you can use an Invisible Mode for browsing UG Profiles. You just need to go to Account Settings, select "Use invisible mode...." and save your changes.
3. Quote and Answer! Well, now there's an ability to quote any comment anywhere on UG Profiles, the same feature as quoting on General Site and Forums. What is Answer? Answer is a feature that gave you a possibility to post a comment directly in a profile of user that has posted a comment in your profile. It looks like a PMs. I know it doesn't make sense, so I'll try to describe it.
Let's imagine. 2 users: Carmel_l and me. Carmel has posted a comment in my profile: "Hey, how's everything? <3" What should I do? I have to go to her profile and post a comment "Everything is great! What about you?" Then Carmel has to go to my profile and post there "All is good! <3" And so on... But now there's no necessity to go to others profiles. Just click a grey link 'answer' under the comment you want to answer, the system will move you to your text box with a notification "Your comment will be posted.... blah blah blah..." and a quoted comment of the user you want to answer. Then enter your text and press "Post a comment" button. And that's all! The comment will be posted on the user's profile, but you will stay on your own page.
4. We changed a status addition form a little! Now it's dark.
5. Individual Advanced Search page. Here it is, the link "advanced" on the main page gives you this page. We added some useful tips and quick searches. Check it out!

Hey! I have some news once again. We've just implemented some cool new features. Here they are:
1. Advanced Search for tabs! It's only on the main page for betta testing now. There's a link "advanced" between our old search panel and 'submit your...' links block. See below:
Now there's an ability to search a certain tab by a certain band with certain type, rating and tunning. I hope this will be very helpful for you, UGers!
2. Preview Tabs. There's a new button "Preview Your Tab" on the tabs submitting page. You can use it to see how your tabs will look on the site. Works for Guitar tabs, Bass tabs and Chords.
3. Profile Views Stats. Now you're able to see the detailed views stats of yours or any other profile. Just move a cursor over word "stats." Images are below.
4. UGP Statuses! Now you're able to add your own status to your profile (max 30 symbols)! See below:
I want to inform you that we've just make some upgrades of UG Profiles! They are not so significant, but they are a great features! Here they are:
1. "Select all" check box has been added to PM section (Inbox & Sent). Now there's no need to select all your 385 messages individually and then remove them or something. Hope it would be handy.
2. Now you're able to add (and edit) lyrics to your songs on UGP! Below are a shirt illustrated manual: 2.1. adding lyrics to the new song (User menu -> My Mp3s -> Upload New).
2.2. adding lyrics to the already aploaded song (User menu -> My Mp3s -> My Mp3s).
2.3. editing lyrics of already aploaded song (User menu -> My Mp3s -> My Mp3s).
Don't forget to save your changes!
3. We've slightly corrected the "Genres" field in all band profiles to keep them more organized and easy to search. Now there are 5 drop down menues to choose desirable and most appropriate genres. Please visit your band profiles and make changes if necessary.

This Album is simply.... Awesome and ill tell you why... its a story in a sense and a kinda 'Fuck You' to america..... the song American idiot is about not wanting to be apart of the american way of life... The Style is of course punk.... a way of life some will say... but almost everyone can relate to this album in some way or another even if your not a massive green day fan or rock fan.... theres something in there that u can say.. yh i hear what u say...

billie joe is a good Ab/G Key singer..... and mike dirnt is a good backing vocalist. the Lyrics are simple yet effective and the album continues its theme with 'St Jimmy' throughout and fuck you against america... love the lyrics... love the band love there work. 10/10 again

there is a lot of amazing albums.. but as a punk album with a story type theme to it... this album will appeal to everyone that listens to it , young and old. the most impressive song on the album is st jimmy... track 6... well its linked with track 5 - are we the waiting...
St Jimmy is excelent live.... from ' bullet in a bible.. again over all impression 10/10
