This is really a minor thing, but I am always curious as to how some people find my profile, and all that jazz. So, if you wouldn't mind, just saying how you managed to find my profile, and other stuff along those lines, and really feel free to Add me if you'd like!
I'll add some more info about me here, because I am way too lazy to put it into the html crap all over again.. haha
I've been playing for about 5 years, have 2 guitars.. blah blah blah... we all know from the main page
I like to search for new music almost night and day, I'm saving for a huge tattoo, no I will not discuss too many details, can't risk someone taking my idea, getting it first because some people have more time, and more money than I... I don't understand why everyone hates Avenged Sevenfold so much, recently delved into the world of death metal, more extensively. I sometimes feel like the term "metalhead" is used to be insulting, so I ususally don't refer to myself as such, though I doubt I really am that much. My dream car is a Lotus Evora, more realistically, a Lotus Elise (about $40,000 - USD - cheaper than the prior)
And let's see.... that's all I got at the moment, sooo, yeah...
Please just, you know, leave some info about you. I'm always interested in someone who takes the time to look at all this stuff, and I'd greatly appreciate it! Now get typing!

I love to classify music. It's a hobby of mine, along with knowing/reading about bands I like, and even some I don't like. Obviously, I love to play guitar as well...
But recently, as I have ventured more into metalcore and gothic metal, I continually see people say this band is emo, and that band is emo, because of a certain look or lyrics.
I don't understand when people say, bands like Bullet for My Valentine are emo. Sure some of their lyrics could be, given the right atmosphere, but the name is much too violent. Either they guy is going to give that bullet to the girl because she cheated on him, or he's going to take a bullet for her, because he loves her so much.
I get more irritated when people call gothic bands emo.. Like the Deathstars or Deadstar Assembly. There is a Deadstar Assembly song entitled "Killing Myself Again," which lyric-wise could be considered "emo," yet the style of the music is industrial metal/gothic metal. It's too heavy, hard, and dark to be emo... so maybe people could try to learn something about genres before they label something emo.
Who are everyone's favorite guitarists? mine are (in no particular order):
1. Jimmy Page-Led Zeppelin 2. Jimi Hendrix-The Jimi Hendrix Experience 3. Michael Padget-Bullet For My Valentine 4. Dan Jacobs-Atreyu 5. Adrian Smith-Iron Maiden 6. Michael Romeo-Symphony X 7. Mikael Akerfeldt-Opeth 8. Jon Schaffer-Iced Earth 9. Dave Mustaine-Megadeth 10. Synyster Gates-Avenged Sevenfold
I'm thinking about taking out Dave Mustaine, and inserting Marty Friedman (he was in megadeth, until 1999.)
Is there anyone who should/shouldn't be on it, and why. Give me a song (and band preferred) or something that i can listen to so i can decide.
