Just some 15 year-old kid who plays guitar. Been playing about year. I am left-handed.
I am straight-edge, despite alot of family and personal problems going on right now.

Why am I straight-edge...? A good question. Here's a post I made on a thread (copy-pasta)
"Yeah, I am. Also hope to become vegan, too. Can't stand the thought of animals being raised in almost unlivable spaces and then being painfully slaughtered as food.
Reason I'm straight-edge is because I've kinda seen what drugs can do to you. Some group of kids drove into an icy lake in the middle of the winter because they were all drunk off their asses. One of them died, and two of the other people went to my school. One ****ed up her spine, almost became handicapped. Other one got put into a coma for about a week and almost died.
Needless to say, after a couple weeks, they started drinking and fucking again, like usual.
That's not to mention that if I start doing drugs that I'm afraid I'll get hooked on them because I've got so much **** going on right now, and my life and self-esteem is ****ed up enough as it is."
There more to it, way more to it, but those are a couple of my main reasons. Sure, lots of embarrassment and self-deprivation, but it make me feel like I'm fulfiing something in my life.
Morality ftw...? Or ftl..?

I hope someday to become vegan, but my parents are totally against it, so I can't until I can support myself (and learn how to cook).
I am a trackster/trackie/obsessed with track. I enjoy running, and this has probably also contributed to my love of music (and the other way around, also). I listen to music when I run, all the time. I love running because when that music gives you the adrenaline, the release feels as good as any high a drug can give (or so I think). During track season, I ran 5-7 miles every day, and some days 9 miles. Now that summer has come along though, I find myself slacking alot.
My track team dubbed me the nickname 'Foof', because of my long poofy hair. My coaches always crack jokes about how if I cut my hair I could run 5 seconds faster... Bah
I primarily run 800 meter dashes and related relays (Medley, 3200 relay). I ran state track this year, running my segment of our 3200 in 2:16. Not very good, but at the beginning of the year I was running 2:30-2:40's, so I improved quite a bit I think. I still suck though.
Alex Muntefering is my hero.
I love all kinds of music, but mainly I listen to prog, metal, hardcore. I enjoy screamo and experimental music immensely. I'm starting to get more into rap and electronic music.
I also am learning how to play baritone for school band, and hopefully get a bass guitar and learn bass. Also probably going to play guitar for jazz band next year.
I'm not really a good songwriter, but when I have a good idea every now and then, I can work with it. Despite this, I can work with time signatures fairly well. I still experiment with countermelody, and am working on getting a better understanding of polyrhythm/polymeter. My band teacher is teaching me music theory also.
