Tis a rainy Tuesday. But it's still pretty nice out. I'm surprised about that.
Okay, so now that I've got a bit of down time, I'll write my blog post for today. For once I'm actually working at work. ( I know, It's shocking. Working at work. 0.0)
So I spent the first hour running around like a chicken with his head cut off getting info for PayPal. The good news is soon the site will be set up for purchases. SO, people will be able to go on and buy stuff. (please, if anyone is still reading this,(cause most people will have stopped reading when they realized I was rambling) buy something. Please?)
But I don't have much to write about today and I should probably get back to work. Cup of coffee number three, take me away. Adios May peace be with you.
Okay, due to family issues, I took most of the week off with my blog. A few days ago my aunt Christy away. When I talked to my mother she said that my father was so struck by it that he actually broke down crying. I've never heard of my father crying. It hasn't happened before in my lifetime. So I was caught off guard, and it hit me deeply. Well, everyone is doing fine now, still a bit upset, but we're pulling ourselves together.
Just to add to my stress, my fiance was taken to the hospital last night because of possible appendicitis. They released her around five in the morning and told her they couldn't find anything wrong with her. So as far as we know she's okay.
In good news, we're getting all set with the marriage. We've got a slight set back on the date, but we're gonna be getting hitched soon.
So, I'm back for a bit longer. Keep posting comments and giving me suggestions for topics. Please, tell me what you think of the blog, give me feedback. I'd still like to know what you people think so that I can improve on the blog.
One of the guys on here was a complete ass. you can easily see what I mean. If you wouldn't mind, go send the author a bit of love. It's a pretty good article. It also doesn't remain static to blues. You can take the techniques he layed out and insert them into any genre. I'd take them and make them into crazy metal solos.
okay, I've spoken my peace.
Adios
may peace be with you
be back monday
Well, it's coming to that time again. My birthday. I'll be turning 20 on December 7th. (Which is the worst birthday to have. I mean, really, Pearl Harbor day. Kind of hard to be happy on Pearl Harbor day.)
Anyway, I didn't see much in the news section, and I am really bad about preparing topics for this. I will say that I actually spell-check everything s you don't have to worry about random misspellings on my blog. Unlike in the news section.
So I'll post this, just so I have a post for today, an go back to playing Minecraft at work. 'Cause there isn't much else for me to do.
Adios May peace be with you.
I was going to say something poetic that would make everybody think, but then I saw the news section and decided not to even bother.
So, First off, How was everyone's Thanksgiving weekend? (before I start getting comments about it, yes I do realize that not everyone celebrates Thanksgiving. Yes Europe, I'm looking at you. But I live in the U.S., so I'll keep referring to the fact that I just celebrated Thanksgiving. If there is some holiday that isn't observed in the U.S., please tell me about it. I find other cultures interesting, and am always willing to learn about them.)
Sadly, I think that may be the biggest paragraph in this entire blog.
I spent a good portion of the weekend looking online for wedding rings with the fiance. We found them pretty easily, got the marriage license application filled out. Laughed at her and her family playing badminton, then made a fool of myself playing badminton, spent Sunday watching movies. and now I'm back at work, writing my blog and listening to the news on the radio, finding out that the world really is as fucked as I thought. Wow, I think this paragraph is actually longer than the other one.
Anyway... I seem to have rambled a bit there. I scrolled through the music news section and realized that there isn't really much going on there, so I have no clue what to fill the rest of this blog with. I'm also watching as I type this and thinking, "Holy hell, I type faster than I thought."
To conclude this random rambling blog, Adios and may peace be with you. and maybe I'll find something interesting to write about tomorrow.
I'm sitting at my break waiting for the boss to tell me to get back to putting together furniture. I hate particle board. The only good thing is that it gives me something to do. And we've got a pretty good radio station. They're playing alot of classic rock, so I'm content. Not much metal hits the airwaves in Tennessee.
I'll be taking a break from writing over the thanksgiving holiday. I'll be back on Monday. I'll post one Tomorrow, if I can find a good topic.
Today I'm just gonna ask a couple of questions.
The first one relates to a news article I saw when I got onto the site this morning. Courtney Love claimes she didn't know anything about the Cobain movie. I don't think thats true. Why wouldn't the money grubber be involved in something that could bring her millions?
And the other one is, What are you guys doing thursday?
On a little side note, I've had over 650 views since I started writing over a year ago. It brings me pleasure to know that people have been reading my little blog. Keep reading, posting comments, and giving kudos.
Yo, long time no posts. Ha ha, I got kind of busy so I stopped posting. Well, I guess I should start the new blog by updating you guys on what's been going on.
Relationship issues, of course. Then a couple weeks of sadness. Then a new relationship and more issues, more sadness... yeah you see how that goes.
Anyway, in July I enlisted in to the army. Then at the end of August I found an Ex of mine from when I was in middle school. By mid-September I was engaged and had moved back home to Tennessee. So I'm back home, got a job at a biker apparel store and I'm doing a bit of web design on the side.
Unfortunately, I don't have a guitar anymore. I need to get another one. Which I will be doing soon. Okay, short post, but I thought I should start posting again since there is sooo much work to be done around the shop... (Not really. I forget that sarcasm doesn't translate into text)
So what's been up with you guys since I've been gone? Any ideas for topics? Feel free to post them in the comments. Thanks to all the people who asked where I was, and complimented on my blogs. It's partly because of that, that I started posting again.

That's the site that I designed for my new job.
Okay, weekly wrap up for Wednesday, February 22, 2012

Total subjects this week:2; Article comments / Changing Trends Research
Okay, so rather than launch into another topic, I decided to review this week’s topics.
On Monday, I started with a short bit about the comments on an article I read about recording without killing your wallet. The comments criticized the initial cost, even though it included things you should already have, and was more of an investment.
I then started a topic about the changes in trends over recent years. The topic was VERY hard to research because there was very little information on the subject. (At least for the U.S.) So I only did two short blogs on it. It ended with one question; could there be another metal scene on the rise?
I can’t answer that question, but I can say that my reason for choosing that topic could have been biased. I live in Tucson, Arizona. We have a really big metal scene, which would explain why I saw that trend. However, in my research I found one interesting thing; since at least 1999, there have been more rock albums sold than any other genre, by a 20 point lead. And there had been a rise in rock album sales.
This is a short week for me, but I’ll be back on Monday with a new topic to discuss. Please, if you have one, post it in the comments or PM it to me.
According to Billboard.com the top artist of last year was (of course) a pop artist. So we throw that out. Pop will always be popular, that’s what it stands for. The number two artist was a hip-hop artist, followed by pop until number eight, a country artist. The first rock artist didn’t show up until number twenty-two (it was U2, so does it count?). Then Bon Jovi follows not long after (26). Linkin Park (39) and Maroon 5(40) follow that. So about half way through Billboard.com’s list (sorted by airplay) there is little else but pop, therefore rock artists aren’t getting the most airplay.
However, according to RIAA’s consumer charts from 2004-2008 there was an almost ten point increase in the number of rock sales. And over the course of the chart, rock sales had a 20 point lead over rap/hip-hop.
This makes it seem as if a lot of rock artists (specifically post-hardcore) have an almost cult status, similar to the early hair metal scene. Could there be a coming rise of post-hardcore music, similar to the 80’s hair scene?
Sadly, there is little information about this topic. I’ll have to find a new topic for tomorrow, which is also my last posting day for the week.
I’ll have another short topic for tomorrow, and I’ll do my usual Friday wrap-up.
