Favorite bands :
I like alot of stuff ranging from classic rock, in all five decades, as well as funk and disco. I enjoy listening to arena metal, mainly GNR, Steve Vai, Motley Crue, and other bands like that. I enjoy disco music, like Earth, Wind, and Fire, the Bee Gees, KC and the Sunshine Band, and other bands. I also enjoy a little bit of contemporary stuff in the indie scene of music, especially the garage rock revival. I enjoy Jet, Wolfmother, the Hives, the Brian Jonestown Massacre, and others. I am becoming a fan of Britpop music, such as Oasis, the Stone Roses, Coldplay, the Ocean Colour Scene, the Charlatans UK, and others.
Favorite guitarists :
My favorite guitarists include Jimi Hendrix, Noel Gallagher, Peter Frampton, Eric Clapton, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, and more(The list is growing!) I also like the guy from Soundgarden and the guitarist from the Stone Temple Pilots. John Squire of the Stone Roses is good, especially on their second album.
Favorite bassists :
I don't have one, though I like Paul McCartney and Geddy Lee, not for their respective bass work.
Favorite books :
I read comics, mostly. I also read alot of classical literature. I'm into the Bible, Catcher in the Rye, Great Expectations, the Crucible, All My Sons, and an ever-growing list of great reads. I enjoy reading comics, mainly Marvel and DC. I'm thinking of reading Grapes of Wrath, next. I also want to read Beowulf. I write alot more than I read. That's a given.
Favorite tv :
I like Monk, Avatar: The Last Airbender, JLU, Naruto, DBZ, American Idol, some VH1 Classic(When it's not obscene), and more stuff like that. I'm an anime fan. Though, I think that I'm starting to watch TV less and less. I do like sitcoms, such as Monk, Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, Two and a Half Men, and others. I also like to watch the History Channel, especially when it covers religion, Christianity in particular.
Favorite movies :
I don't enjoy alot of contemporary movies. I prefer classics, as well as some superhero based movies. Of course, I think that you're better off seeing movies by independent filmmakers. I enjoy martial arts and action movies, as well. I am a huge Bruce Lee fan and take martial arts myself. I owe that to DBZ, UFC, and boxing. I never became interested in fighting, until, I saw DBZ.
Hi. I'm a fan of classic rock and an aspiring musician and star (Hopefully!) I am a fan of guitar and I have an Epiphone "Les Paul Special II", but I always enter the contests online. I don't really spend that much money, because I like to have it. I may decide to buy a Stratocaster, when I get enough money. I want to buy it and practice guitar. Anything with a tremolo bar. I sing, too. I am in my high school Chorus and am currently trying to become a good singer and guitarist. My Dad's a classical music collector and an amateur opera singer. Therefore, if you study the highest forms of music, you'll get the little forms. Look at Rhandy Rhoads, a classically trained guitarist. He practiced classical guitar to become the virtuoso of his era.
