I play guitar and bass. I've played guitar since around 3rd grade, so I've been playing for around six years. I've also picked up the bass in the last few years.
I've been raised on rock music and other genres/sub-genres. I can't remember how long I have been listening to artists such as Rage Against the Machine, Violent Femmes, Sufjan Stevens, (these three I listened to VERY much as a toddler, and still do) and many other. I try to evolve in my playing and am currently very interested in metal (usually stuff like thrash, heavy), punk, and classic alternative. However, I do enjoy listening to jazz every now and then.
I also play saxophone, but hey. This is a guitar website, so whatever.
