I've been writing songs for a good 10 years. My background is blues, jazz, rock, classical, folk, and (for the last three years) metal. I don't pretend to have mad skillz, but I can play guitar, bass, keyboards--even drum a little. My first, best instrument is voice. I've known and worked with some really great musicians, guys who don't let me settle for being just the girl-singer. They challenge me to grow and develop my instrumental skills in ways I never could before. I feel lucky they have such confidence in me, and I want to do them proud. That's why I'm here.
