Favorite bands :
Depends on my mood really. I usually go from obssessing over one band, to getting bored of them and obssessing over another. I'm a Metallica fan. But not because half the nation is too. Metal in general is a good thing. I like other stuff too. Mainstream rock, like Three Days Grace and Rise Against. I'm into the classics, like Gn'R and AC/DC. Alternative stuff occaisionally takes my fancy too, such as Smile Empty Soul, Revelation Theory, etc. I've been known to listen to a bit of Classical aswell, although I know little about it.
Favorite guitarists :
Petrucci, Vai and Satch for sure. Now that I've got that mandatory trio out of the way - Eric Johnson, Carlos Santana and Slash too. I have many. Many of them might be deemed overrated, like Slash, or Kirk Hammett, so I won't mention any more.
Favorite books :
The LOTR trilogy for sure. I'm well into Terry Pratchett's Discworld series at the moment. Hilarious fun. Don't read as much as I used to though.
Favorite movies :
Can't choose. The LOTR trilogy again though. The Saw trilogy too. I'm into all the Marvel films so far. Except for The Hulk. That was just a shit movie. I'll watch anything really.
About Discouraged
I'm pretty boring, to be honest. The fact that I have bright, shiny, metallic, red hair is just a means for me to compensate for my utterly dull and energy-draining personality. I know a few good knock-knock jokes though.
