About Diamond Dave

NOTICE: just thought i'd point out that the 3 songs on my profile were recorded on an RP150 straight into the computer, not with the gear listed on my profile

I'm Diamond Dave, that nickname came about due to my soloing and my dad being a jeweler. got a guitar for my birthday when i turned 14, played that on and off for about 3 years until i won this talent comp at school with my band The Diamonds (rofl). After that i bought my jackson played a bit more, came back and won the comp again the year after which was good. The Diamonds never played any gigs outside of school because we formed just to play in the competition and all the members except for me are involved in another band.

basically i play metal and hard rock stuff from van halen to priest to maiden to ozzy to the darkness and everything inbetween.

Recently got some new gear, the new amp and overdrive, they sound awesome together and i'm really stoked. also hoping to put a guitar together as well over the summer holidays, buying a neck and building the body and should have some pretty good hardware in there. should keep me busy for a while.
