So...I finally moved out to go to university, and managed to bring 2 guitars and a bass with me, am I a happy person? Hell yes. There's some very interesting musicians on this campus, one girl on the floor below should definitely record a solo album at some point.
How has the playing gone? Ah well....I will be honest and say I haven't practiced the songs that I originally intended to practice but I have got Good Riddance and Polly down to a tee. And I'm busy writing a new song which I'm hoping a friend will sing vocals over...
Bass: The Offspring - Pretty Fly for a White Guy (100%) Good Charlotte - Keep your Hands off my Girl (50%) Just got the bridge to go and then got to get it up to speed.
Guitar: Blink 182 - Dammit (80%) Nirvana - Man Who Sold the World (50%) Didn't practice those songs today.
I don't have much to say but I thought I'd use this blog as a well of documenting my instrument "song goals" and maybe it will give me some more motivation. With rough, and brutally honest percentages.
