Dang, your band's myspace is sweet. How'd you go about getting that layout? I'd love something that clean looking for my band.

I like your tune '' Army of the dead''
Keep rocking !

I liked it, but I think that the generic vocal style belies any integrity or worth the piece would otherwise have. :)

Sammy2K7 wrote on Jul 27th, 2008 1:03pm

sweet songs man, are the drums real or from software? and if so, which software?

Hey, what do you use for drums? Is it a program or something from a synthesizer? ...Or actual drums? Thanks.

found army of the dead a bit dull and repetative but then again... it is punk

Thanks for the advice dude! i never thougtht of playing power chords on bass in a ska song, but it works. one method i had of doing ska bass was playing an arpeggio of the chord the guitar os doing and then adding in an approach tone of the next chord. its pretty much walking bass(I think).

do you think you can tab an example of playing power chords in ska? and yeah, Streetlight is killer, its too bad i cant go to their concert here in april. Damn Passover!

Yes that’s right, punk is dead, it’s just another cheap product for
the consumer’s head. Bubblegum rock on plastic transistors,
schoolboy sedition backed by big time promoters. CBS promote
the Clash, but it ain’t for revolution, it’s just for cash. Punk
became a fashion just like hippy used to be and it ain’t got a
thing to do with you or me.

Urban1ninja wrote on Mar 20th, 2008 11:39pm
