Hush works like a charm, doesnt rob tone and is one of the best noise gates i've messed it. Well worth the cash.

Yeah, I think being able to play more instruments would help my understanding of music and help me to create better stuff. It would also give me the chance to learn an instrument properly because I kinda messed up the guitar and can't play very well, so I'm having to fight every day to correct that and learn to actually play instead of just being a gear whore.
