It's a Vox V847 and I had it sitting on my coffee table downstairs for a couple of weeks. I bought it on the 4th of March when I got my income tax back, so I was looking forward to it. Played it quite a bit, then decided not to overuse it because I would look like a fool. Today I finally decided to play it again and when I was rocking it back and forth - weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
Basically my ear-drum shattered due to the high-pitch squeeling. And no, it didn't have any tempo or pitch to it, just one constant "weeeeeeeeeeeee," sound.
So I don't know what's up with it, but I'm pretty pissed. I changed the battery and everything, looked inside and nothing looks out of place. Given, I'm not an expert of technical and mechanical stuff, but I can usually tell when something looks broken. Urgh!
Well, it's under a month old, I haven't had it for 30 days so I should take it back and see if the warranty covers it. If not, even finding out what's wrong would be nice.
