I just got back from Cork this morning, the Dragonforce gig was really good fun, missed the first half hour but still had a great time, a lot of onstage craziness and one of the roadies dressed up as a nurse and took a tray of beers on stage lol

Naturally, they had a few fuck-ups, but when you get into the energy of it, it doesn't matter, they really are a band for people who are into wankery lol Great keyboard solos and whatnot.

I don't actually own a bass, except for the two-string acoustic bass I have, I took a loan of a Tanglewood from my brother and I sometimes jam on my roommates Ibanez. What type of bass do you have??

Sorry to accidentally insult you, but you came onto a thread and posted your opinion which was completely unrelated, I get sick of people ragging on Dragonforce, tonight is going to be my 3rd time seeing them live and like the other 2 times, I'm going to have a good time. I know you didn't exactly rag on Dragonforce, but what you said wasn't positive.

2 months isn't that long, considering it may have to be made then shipped from the US, as PRS don't produce that many guitars in a month. they give you straight answers in terms of when you'll get your instrument though. UNLIKE JACKSON ¬.¬.

northumbria is pretty good, feels like i've only been there 5 minutes and im heading into 3rd year in just over a week. it'll be over before i know it. you going back to do a masters or something?

i'm going to have to order the prs pretty soon, i want to get it before the year is out, and apparently theres an average two month wait if there arent any guitars in the country. i was also looking at getting a replica ken lawrence hetfield explorer custom made, but that was going to take 10 months.

as for music, i'm into playing all sorts of stuff but i have phases. right now i'm enjoying playing some blues, especially john mayer and srv to build up my chops and work on bends.

i also enjoy playing metal and its many sub genres, it's my comfort zone. i like making up techy rhythms with weird chords.

you'll probably find the agile to be of better quality than an epiphone - while mine sounds like a les paul, it isnt the full package (compared to a gibson or other higher quality copy). there is a difference in pickup selection, and i find it's voiced for more vintage tones, however they have a tendancy to muddy up and aren't that clear.

i'm thinking about getting a new set of pickups to make it more useable, because i love the neck and use it for REALLY low tunings (like drop A and stuff), or i might just sell it to someone starting out and put the money toward the prs tremonti i'm after.
