Favorite guitarists :
The guitarist of the bands listed above. Plus good measure of Gilbert, Vai, Satch, Zaza. Currently I'm inspired by JerryC as he's managed to shred with style. Matt Belamy and James Hetfield are awesome as well.

I don't play bass, but Cliff Burton inspires me.
Favorite books :
1984 (George Orwell), The Romance of the Three Kingdoms (Lua Guanzhong), Dune (Frank Hurbert), V for Vendetta (Allan Moore), 1066 and all that (W. C. Sellar and R. J. Yeatman), His Dark Materials Trilogy (Phillip Pullman, and I could list alot of good history books.
Favorite tv :
Black Adder, The League of Gentlemen, Family Guy, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Naruto... Anime in general, American Dad, Lost, Mock the Week, Have I got News for you, Band of Brothers, Dead Ringers, Mythbusters, House, Drawn Together, and most importantly Neighbours.
Favorite movies :
Star Wars, Sympathy for Mr Vengence, Oldboy, Sympathy for Lady Vengence, Battle Royale, Ninja Scroll, Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Apocalypse Now, The Godfather, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Enter the Dragon, Ichi the Killer, to be honest I'll watch anything I just prefer strange Japanese films!
